We are now establishing our business in the greater Stockholm area. We are looking for persons who wants to take the next step in their career and want to work together with our Regional Manager to build up our business on the Swedish East Coast. We are looking for CFD/CAE Engineer.

 

CFD/CAE Engineer

 

Tasks that will support your personal growth:

  • Be responsible for, and develop, the hydro- and aerodynamic models and simulations across Candela's product range
  • Work with our external partners with expertise in foiling technology to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of our vessels
  • Be responsible for tank and open water test planning and execution
  • Provide insight and suggest design modifications based on analysis outcomes, and to apply analysis techniques across a range of technical disciplines
  • Organize CFD test results into concise, presentable reports for proper decision making and implementation
  • Guide our engineering team in design questions related to hydrodynamic performance

 

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

  • Have a relevant university degree
  • Are proficient with CFD software (Star CCM+ preferred), flow simulation and visualization related software and methods
  • Have experience from modelling multiphase flow.
  • Are familiar with MATLAB, Python or similar high-level programming language
  • Have experience developing detailed models and meshes ready for CFD simulations.
  • Have experience from tank and open water testing
  • Have experience with hydrodynamics on propeller blade design as well as hull design
  • Have the ability to stay thorough and focused even in a high paced work environment
  • Are a perseverant person with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset
